His own consulting firm specializes in crisis and turnaround management for senior executives of manufacturing and service industry. He has served as interim President and Chief Executive Officer of both public and private companies. He’s a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) with a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Dallas.

    Ana Clarke

    Ana Clarke has been actively involved in human services both in the care of children, education, and healthcare. Ana served as the leader of the Children’s Ministry in her Church and as a native Venezuelan, she spent four years in Venezuela working with abandoned children, both as an Administrator of children’s homes and as an Administrative Officer over nine homes and a school. Tom and Ana are the proud parents of Samuel, born in 2009, Annasophia born in 2011, and Amelia in 2013.

      Tom Clarke is Founder of Kissito Healthcare International and President & CEO of parent company Kissito Healthcare. Tom has held leadership positions within large academic teaching hospitals in the University of Massachusetts Medical School system, including those of Associate Administrator and CFO. As CEO of Kissito Healthcare, Tom has focused on quality and operation improvements for a wide range of post-acute settings over the last 19 years. Tom holds a Master’s of Science in Business with a concentration in Health Care Management from the University of Maine. Tom, his wife Ana, son Samuel and daughters Annasophia and Amelia, enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains on their farm outside of Roanoke.

        After high school graduation, Reverend David Erickson served two years of active duty with the United States Marine Corps. Following his service, he worked for many companies in different capacities until 1980, when he graduated from Catonsville College and was ordained into the Baptist ministry. Since then, Reverend Erickson has served as senior pastor of Watersedge Baptist Church.

            Bradley J. Goad, D.O., CMD was born and raised in Mount Airy, NC. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at Virginia Tech in 1996. After finishing at Virginia Tech, he transferred to the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV for his medical education. In 2000, he transferred to East Tennessee State University to complete training in Internal Medicine. He served as Chief Resident in 2003 at the Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. After completing residency, Dr. Goad and his family moved to Galax, VA to join Carilion Medical Group. He worked in a “traditional” Internal Medicine role serving patients in the office, hospital, and nursing homes. He quickly realized that his heart was in geriatric care and so gradually started adding more nursing homes to his practice. After leaving Carilion in 2007, he founded Mid-Atlantic ElderCare, PLLC which provides professional medical services to Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities in North Carolina and Virginia. He is a Certified Medical Director through the American Medical Director’s Association and serves as Medical Director for multiple facilities as well as Hospice and Home Health Agencies. The company continues to grow rapidly and is considering expansion into Tennessee and Kentucky. Dr. Goad is also a Major in the United States Air Force Reserves where he serves as a Flight Surgeon. He is married with two children. He enjoys aviation, camping, hiking, and fishing.

              Kathy Sanders is a Registered Nurse with a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration. She is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.  Kathy has thirty plus years of nursing experience. Kathy worked her way up from a certified nursing assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, Director of Clinical Services to a Vice President of Clinical Services in a variety of healthcare settings. Kathy possesses strong clinical expertise in the field of long term care and post acute care.  She demonstrates a strong personal commitment and passion for the delivery of healthcare services over a broad spectrum.   Kathy has served on a variety of committees with the West Virginia and Virginia Healthcare Associations. Kathy and husband Michael have three children, one granddaughter, two dogs and live in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia.

                Robert has 23 years of experience as both a licensed nursing home administrator and regional director of operations in the skilled nursing and rehabilitation industry. He has managed both nursing homes and assisted living facilities across the United States. Robert brings a sincere passion for the elderly, and an intensely strong work ethic, which he attributes to his very close relationship with his grandparents and his parents. As CEO Robert is directly responsible for the fiscal and efficient operations of all of Kissito Healthcare’s senior care entities. Robert resides in his hometown of White Sulphur Springs, WV with his wife and four daughters. He is actively engaged in his church and his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

                  During his career, Josh has built brands and exceeded sales goals for clients in the US and overseas. He has owned and operated an integrated advertising agency in Virginia where he built a wide array of brands into consistent leadership positions. He managed a regional affordable housing real estate development firm, and has represented various marketing service based firms on both a national and international basis in a business development capacity. Currently his role at Kissito is in business development and strategic operations with a focus on Kissito's senior care service lines and aging in place care models. In addition to his role in long term healthcare business development, he is the executive director of Kissito PACE, Kissito's integrated managed care program for the frail and elderly. Josh has served on numerous community boards and advisory groups. He is a native of Blacksburg, VA and a graduate of Radford University.

                    Alakananda joined Kissito in 2008 and was appointed to Director of Research and Policy in February 2009. Alakananda is responsible for International Development in the Sub-Saharan Africa, development and implementation of strategic communications initiatives, grant writing, bilateral and multilateral donor relations, partnerships between governments and NGOs, as well as policy-making processes among the bilateral and multi-lateral agencies. She is also responsible for health care utilization and outcomes research in the US primarily focusing on post-acute care services across different care settings. She started her career with the Denmark Government’s Leprosy Eradication Program in India and worked with Orissa Voluntary Health Association, Rotary International, Global Polio Eradication Program in India and with The University of Texas Medical School, The University of Texas School of Health Information Sciences and The University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in different capacities. She is passionate about global health issues and health inequities in particular. Her long-term goal is to address these issues to impact Health Policy. Alakananda holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Journalism & Mass Communication degree from India and a Masters of Public Health degree with a Global Health concentration from The University of Texas School of Public Health, Houston. In her spare time, she loves to read classics, history & literature. Her hobbies include bird watching, traveling, learning new languages and new cultures, movies, music and theater.

                      Jennifer Bell

                      Jennifer has been working with Kissito and its affiliates since July 2011. In September of 2013, she assumed the role of Chief International Programs Officer. Jennifer is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of Kissito’s programs in Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan, and Uganda. Her vision for Kissito’s international endeavors includes building cost-effective, sustainable, scalable models to improve health and nutrition and mitigate climate change. Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts. She spent 10 years working in the financial industry in Boston and New York City and 4 years operating a small business with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, and writing. Jennifer is passionate about Kissito and creating positive change.
